Power steering issuses
I have a ton of slop in my steering an was wondering how bad of a lob it is to fix. The slop is right where the shaft goes into the power sterring box, is there a knuckle in there that goes bad or do I need a new box?

little more info is needed like year of truck. before u get bent out of shape have someone steer the truck while u look under the hood at the steering shaft. look for a flat rubber doughnut. this may be where ur play is and is a common problem. its called a rag joint and connects the steering shafts together.
u can also adjust the steering preload on the box for a temporary fix. i dont have the procedure handy but a quick search should provide the info.
