I have a 390 in my '76 F-350 2WD.
I had a Holley Rebuilt 4-Barrel Double-Pumper,Auto Choke I had my dad rebuild.
Well anyways,We pulled the Holley off and got a Edlebrock-1407-4-Barrel,Manual Choke.
I want to put the Edlebrock on,But,there are no Choke switches in my cab or anything...
So would this carburetor bolt right up and then what do I do?
Here are some pictures... (I need to try and get some of The Edlebrock.)
I will keep ya updated,so thanks in advance.
should bolt right up, just make sure you use new gaskets so there's no vaccumm leaks, and make sure you know which ones the pcv port, gas port, distributor port-if have a vaccum advanced distributor otherwise it should be plugged. But the edelbrocks and holleys are a bit different so the ports aren't in the same spots. also with the manual choke, you should just be able to run a cable into the cab and hook it up right under the dash, some dashes have holes for the choke since that's how they usually came stock. the throttle linkage might also have to be modified a bit.
It'll bolt right up, and as far as the manual choke, Napa or a parts store should have a kit, real simple to install. BTW that's not a double pumper, but whats wrong with the holley?
it leaks around the floats.
some-one told me that Holley are notorious for leaking.
I thought it was a Double Pumper...
Now to go to Napa's web-site and find the kit...
Thanks for the help.

New gaskets have always cured this problem for me and I wasn't aware that it was a chronic problem, but then what do I know, I've only been running Holley carbs since 1960.
I run that same Edlebrock on my 427, it was a very easy set up and install, you will need to get the ford arms to correctly fit, I can get pics if you want to see it fully install and what hose goes where.
Thanks for the pictures!
The weather has gotten to your engine...
He/She needs a bath.
What was going in those holes of your fire-wall?
I see your truck is an automatic.
That holley was a double pumper dont worry, as you can see that thin pipe along the side carries fuel to the secondaries. alot easier set up than having to fuel ports and its less likely to leak. its a double pumper whether some people think so or not.

Can't be a double pumper, it has the vacuum secondary unit on the right rear of the carb. Which is where the second pump would have to be and can't be because of the vacuum unit. All the pipe on the left side does is feed fuel from the inlet to the rear float and needle and seat and then to the fuel bowl.
