Slow until warm?

Mornings usually, if I dont let her warm up for 10 min, it takes a good mile before she takes off? I could see if it was winter, but its been pretty warm, and she never acted like this before? what should I be looking at fellas, thanx.

Disconnect the EBPV, you don't really need it anyway unless you live in the arctic.

Here's the connector:

Be sure the flapper is in the open position, probably is.
Just look for this tang in the picture

Unless your in the artic this time of year the EBPV should not be closing so it shouldn't get stuck closed.

I think a lot of people forget that there's 15 quarts of oil that have to get warm before she starts roll'in.

Good pics cuda.

Thanx Cuda, will do. also been running synthetics, mobil 1, with a fresh oil change recently. Took her all the way down to Miami and back with no problems. knocking on wood. I seen tons of OBS's down there in awsome shape, drove my wife crazy because I allways had to stop and admire, I was really impressed.

I'd agree with farm. I've already got the EBPV on a manual switch and mine's still like that. After the oil warms up, she's great. Before that, a dog... So goes it.

Running synthetics opposed to standard oil help, or not enough to notice?
