Coolant

Hey ppl I got a 06 6.0 and Im gonna do a coolant flush, I know i gotta use the gold or yellow type I was just wondering what brand ppl r using and how many gallons ill need to get

Or Valvoline's Zerex G-05. You'll need three gal.

Us old farts dont know how to read text short hand without the help of our teenage kids.....

I was wondering the same thing though and had not dug out the manual yet to get the capacity of the cooling system. Looks like it is going to be a PITA to do though???? There is no cap to re-fill the system.

Also, be certain to use distilled water when you flush and when you refill. 50/50 ratio.

Yes PPL is short for people.....and PITA is pain in the ***...just to clear up any lingo....any way thanks for the info mabe I will do that tomorrow...
