o-ring replacement

pulled my injectors today and i got some oil down in the rear cylinder. what is the best way to get it out? i was thinking to turn the motor over with rags over the injectors holes to catch the oil. will that work or do something different.

With injector out, suck the oil/fuel with a vacuum, larger syringe, etc.
Otherwise, you need to install the injector, remove the glowplug and with the valve cover bolted down (important if you don't want to squirt oil 20 feet from the truck), crank the motor over to purge oil out the gp hole.

If you try to crank it over with no injector, you'll just pump huge amounts of fuel and oil into the cylinder.

id put the injector in and take the GP out and crank it. its so much faster. i did the syringe and if you have alot of oil in there its going to take a long time.
