dash bulb socket
Hello All,
I've had some problems with one of the bulb sockets that goes in the dash of my truck - the one that does turn signal on the left. Anyway, I removed it, and it is corroded and one of the copper prongs is broken - the turn signal works and it flashes just like it is supposed too, just not the light in the dash.
Anyway, does anyone know where I can get a new one? I have one of those dashes that has the printed circuit board and the socket is plastic with the copper prongs on the inside. The replacement from LMC is just the plastic holder part and not what I need.
Any thoughts?
oh, I have a 1971 F100, Sport custom, 360, manual.

The last time I looked, this part was still available from Ford.
The part number may have been updated...I cannot verify, as I'm not at home.

I'm trying to find some copper sheet and use it to repair the old one, but if it is still available from Ford I'll try to get it tomorrow.
Oh, Dennis Carpenter doesn't have one, but I haven't looked at the other link yet. I'll try it also.
