Replacing Springs
I have a 76 f-250 and I think I'm going to be installing a new set of springs. I can get replacements for a good price so I'm looking into it. I have never pulled the springs before so I am wondering what to expect. I have pulled them from the shackles/hangers but never off the axle. So first question does the bolt that goes through the springs also go through the lift blocks? And second does anybody have any good tips/pics for me to check out? Thanks a lot fellas. Also I am curious how much my front springs are sagging so if anybody has new stock springs and knows the distance from the bump stop to the springs could you report that? My truck has 9+1 2.25" in the rear and 6 3" in the front.
