Body Parts???
Hey guys... Well sad day... My 1988 F-250 I6 4x4 got side swiped while it was parked 
! And the guys insurance might not pay out due to it being stolen... Yeah right between us the guy was probably drunk and left his van 5 blks away because he didn't want to be in troublen with the cops.
Any how I am in need of the drivers side of my pick-up bed. I know I have heard of people buying the entire rear quarter or bed side but can't seem to find anything online but the patches for over the wheel well. It's not like I couldn't just fix the dents and scratches but the wheel well is showing rust so I figured I might just replace the whole side. Can you guys help me PLEASE! I'll attach the picture of the carnage...

You're probably right....I'd look at the timeline on the incident and when it was reported stolen. The insurance will just try to not pay out, no matter who is legally responsible. Whatever you do, do not let the insurance company push you around. I'd have a little heart to heart with the cops and see what they think.
Hope it turns out for you.....wait to see what happens before you go messing with the truck, or you may screw yourself over.

Yeah I probably wouldn't mid doing the donor box thing but those are usually expensive when bought rust free... I have actually been looking at southern trucks to see if I could find a donor rolling chasis to throw my engine and tranny in since mine are rebuilt; and I know what I have in them. I found a 90 F-250 in pristeen condition down in texas for $400 that I could do the donor rolling chasis with but it would be expensive to get it back here. I also understand how beat-up farm trucks get... but i don't want my daily driver looking like a $300 rust bucket! If I was doing farm work I wouldn't care (no offense if any of you are farmers)...
