Mistaken Identity?
[updated:LAST EDITED ON 01-10-03 AT 10:10 PM (EST)]Ok heres the deal. I have a 98 Expedition 5.4, 4x4. Transmission code E. I was told this corresponds to a E40D transmission. Ordered a shift kit for it. Got B&M Part# 10025. It says its for a 1989-1997 E40D. Was I given the wrong kit, or was i mistaken in my transmissions identity.

Mistaken Identity?
I traded my 98 5.4 Expedition in recently,but still have the new TransGo shift kit I bought for it. TransGo lists theirs as kit # PSK(TRADE MARK)E40D,for 98-2000 pick-ups,Expys,Excursions,Navigators,& vans.I know this was the correct kit for my 98.It also states on the back of the package it's for transmissions with 20 pan bolts. I hope this helps you.
