Angry I'm going to junk this thing!

On my '88 F250 7.3, I put all new return lines, caps, and o-rings on. They were good for a few days. And now my front pass. side injector is leaking so bad it will barely run. I switched o rings again, put a washer under nut, and it still leaks. It barely drips unless you move the cap at all then it leak very rapidly and will kill the engine almost instantly. Any ideas? This thing has left me stranded so many times I am ready to junk the f**king piece of s***. Also, if you rev it up to 3500-3750 it will die after a few seconds of that, or it dies after you let it idle.

Yes, check that as asked above...

On my truck, when I did the caps, I had to put a flat bladed screwdriver on every cap and tap it lightly with a hammer to seat the caps.

That sounds like a split O ring.

Lube them up, then roll the top one on first, the roll the bottom one across the top one.

Use reguar grease on mine.

Yes I know the cap is on all the way. But the cap seems really loose like it can wiggle back and forth. I guess I will switch the o-rings. None of the other ones seem loose nor do they leak.
Also it is the front injector on the pass. side. What is that spacer between the injection line and the injector?

The spacer is used in the pulse timing method to sense the fuel pulse to cylinder #1.

Any chance the cap is cracked?

Also with parts quality control anymore, it could be a bad cap from the manufacturer.
I see way to many bad brand new parts these days.
