I searched but didn't find it.
Can anyone tell me what all is different from the 4" and 6" lifts I see? Besides 2"(I figured I better get that out of the way before someone else does). The local truck shop told me the 4" was the easiest as far as not having too much extra mod work to do. I can't find one with rear springs, just blocks and i'm not gonna run blocks in my every day ride, I want springs. Any driveshaft work necessary with the 6" or trac bar, draglink, pitman arm?
I can't tell you the difference between what you are looking at since you didn't say, so since you want springs and no blocks I'll tell you what I did. I have the Icon 5" kit and it does not use a block, meaning no block in the kit and you don't use the original block. It is all springs. That was a big appeal to me.
My X has the factory rear sway bar and Icon says you don't need it on the rear because of their spring pack. I ordered extra sway bar links for the rear so I could use my rear bar. Optional.
The kit comes with a pitman arm, box kit, and track bar bracket and requires no driveline work at all. I added the adjustable Pan Rod to maximize my adjustability. Optional.
I had the steering stabilizer replaced once under warranty at the Ford dealership and knew I wouldn't continue with that so I ordered the Icon dual stabilizer. Optional.
The Super Duty front end with diesel is very heavy so I went with the dual shock hoop arrangement. Optional.
So I don't know if I answered your question, but that is what I did. Am I happy with it? Couldn't be happier. I read about stiff rides and this is not a stiff ride. I hated the stock ride and always knew I would change it. The rear end problems people have, and the band aids they have to apply, seem to hover around the fact that they have blocks in the rear and not just springs. An all spring kit is the way to go. Just say no to blocks.
What tire/wheel combo are you using? Do you have any pics? I probably won't do the lift until next year sometime i'm just gathering info and might start to buy the peices.
I got a screaming deal on some 18" wheels with tires but my plan is to replace the rubber, I haven't decided what size. Icon says my kit will support 35" tires, but I may go 37". There is now a lot of room.
I have a few pictures but I have never posted any since I don't know how.

I too did the 5" ICON but left my existing blocks and 2" front leveling kit on. The ride is great and clears 37" with very minor tire rub on the front leaf springs. I replaced the driveshaft. Any questions, let me know. Here are some pics...
Hey i know you dont want blocks but i have an 04 EX with a 4" and an Roadmaster Active Suspension and i drive this everyday for work and taking the kids to school and we pull a 32 ft boat behind it to the Keys. And the total coast was 700.00

My wife has been against me lifting the X since we bought it. We just went to the bloomsburg truck show and she has finally had a change of heart.
We tow a 27 foot toy hauler travel trailer. Wildwood Sport 27FBSRV. Its pretty heavy, dry weight w/o options is 7,000 lbs. I am guess its its like 9,500 to 10,000 lbs fully loaded with toys and stuff.
Can you still run air helper springs with a 4inch lift spring ? I don't want blocks. I think my rear springs are starting sag a little now.
I am unsure on tires. I would like to go with about a 35 but I can't find them in a load range E.
