Filter Minder Problem
Hello,

My filter minder light came on when I was driving. I pulled over and found that it had broken apart. I opened the circuit (springloaded contact), but could not get rid of the light. I have plans to buy another.

Does anyone know how to shut off the light I am getting on the dash?

I read the literature I have but found nothing....

Try closing the circuit. You have only 2 scenarios here.

and make sure you cycle the ignition after each scenario

Ok I am allowed one bonehead question a day...That was it. For some reason I thought that the plunger opened the circuit, tripping the light. It works the other way around.

Petes 6.0.....I think I tried both ways, but for some reason (coincidence maybe) the key cycling worked. Thanks

Now I wonder if FTE's parts guy carried those?

im sure he does, if not dealer cannot be that much more. ask around maybe somone has one laying around.....

Yeah your probably right. I think they are around 20 bucks or so at the dealer. They are pretty cheap.
