Mirror Removal
My mirror extension's paint has peeled in some spots and I thought I would just repaint it black for now. I figure my question has been answered on here some where but I have not found it. So I will ask before I do something I may regret later. Hows the best way to remove the electric stock mirrors. I would like to upgrade them 1 day when I find a good deal on a pair.

Piece o' Cake, there's four monting bolts and an electrical harness plug. Start by removing the left and right door panel, switch panel, its just cliped on. Unplug mirror harness, you should see it there behind the switch panel. Remove the pastic trim behind the mirror, again just clips into place. Then pop out two round black grommets to reveal final two nuts. Im not sure what size the nuts are, I think 7/16". should be all there is to it.
