H pipe for 5.4l

Does anyone know where i can find/buy/build an h pipe for an f150 with the 5.4l? My dream exhaust set up here would be jba headers with cutouts, 3 in. h pipe to a dual in dual out super 40 Any ideas?

You could have one built. Dual exhausts have limited benefits on trucks. Trucks rely a lot on low end torque to get the job done. Dual exhausts are better for peak power output at high RPM. A false dual, when the muffler has dual outlets seems to function just as well but at a low cost and better consistency. On musclecars, running dual exhausts is easy because the two runs are equal length down each side of the car. But on trucks, the huge gas tank is in the way. This means the runs are not equal, which tends to negate some of the gain and sound of a dual system. False duals tend to have a balanced sound because the exhaust has time to balance out and synchronize.

A dual outlet catback also has the benefits of being able to work with the stock system, or of at least using parts of it. On the pipe size, dual 3" is very large for this engine, even if you had forced induction. It would noticeably decrease the low end torque, and probably mid-range too.

That said, to answer your question, you can have a custom built system that uses your stock cats but eliminates the stock y-pipe. From there you can run it on back into whatever muffler you want and the tailpipes can come out wherever you want.
