speedo not working
have 99 250sd with 5.4 abs light came on speedo stoped work and trans shifts hard 1to2 2to3 chandes vss on rear end abs light when out speedo trans did not change eng light is on any info or suggestens would be great thanks

You don't have the HEC cluster, but it may need the code cleared to sent the info to the cluster. Get someone to clear the code, or disconnect the battery and turn the headlights on. If the ABS is workings (light off) then the VSS signal is getting to the modules.
