Shifts into O/D too quick
Under what I call normal driving, my 93 F-150, 302, E4OD, shifts from 3rd to O/D way too quick for my liking...like, within 1 second of hitting 3rd. Is there any at home, do-it-yourselfer adjustment I can do to correct this? I'll be changing the trans fluid and filter this weekend and thought I'd ask just in case there was something I could do while I was in there.
By the way, this is a totaly awesome web site! I just found it about a week ago and have already learned tons of good info.

Shifts into O/D too quick
The only way to do it at home is to either install a superchip, which comes preprogrammed with performance shiftpoints. Or to use a hypertech power programmer to enter your own shiftpoints. Both options will run you about $300. Both options will also allow you to tweak engine settings and air fuel mixtures to give you about 15 more rear wheel horsepower.
