Does anyone use their PTO?

I have the 6 speed manual transmision with a PTO. Just wondering what you could use it for. I was thinking maybe an air compresser, or a generator. Are there products available for this option, or does every one, including me, just forget about it? Thanks, John

You could also use it to run a hydraulic pump to make fluid power.

Some trucks use it to operate a commercial air compressor. Tow trucks use it to work a the hydralic pump.
