Need help......

Well I finally jumped and installed a Icon 4.5" lift with the adjustable trac bar. Install went pretty easy until the trac bar. Did everything they said with some advice from the guys here, but where do you take measurment from......Icon told me to measure from bump stop to coil, those measurments are within a 1/8th inch but my passenger side front tire sticks out almost 2 inches more than the drivers. I couldn't figure it out and today while driving my ac will not blow out the dash vents or floor vents just the defroster.....I'll take any info you guys can give me.

your front hubs are vaccuum operated and somewhers in the process of the lift you've caused a vac leak. the heater defaults to defrost when you lose vaccuum

Where do the hub vaccum line come from? When I was doing the lift the only lines going to the hubs, that I saw I might have missed them, were the brake lines. How do you fix it? Where do I start to look.

I remember helping a customer solve his track arm problem with a fabtech box kit. It somehow made a difference if you torqued everything down with and without the load of the truck. I can't remember if it was supposed to be done with the tires on the ground, or completely suspended. Either way it made a significant different in reinstalling the track arm.

If the ground isn't even and level, it can make the suspension collapse a little more on one side. I'd try jacking it up and letting it back down evenly, then see if the wheel wells space out evenly.

ESOF vacuum lines are pretty easy to spot, there are a cluster of three lines going to each hub. One brake, one ABS electrical, and the last is the vacuum line. The vac line should plug into the cast steering knuckle, the ABS should go to the Hub bearing assy and the brake line should go to the caliper.

Ok thanks I'm gonna look today at the vacuum lines, I've tried what the directions said to put the trac bar on when the suspension is compressed 2-3 inches, but then when I installed the wheels and lowered it was way off, so I called them and the tech told me to let the truck roll around 30 feet forward then let it roll it back, the suspension will center itself. That didn't work either. I'll try doing it your way today and get back to you. If you any one has any other ways please let me know. Thanks

Ok guys I disconnected the ESOF line under the hood and my ac is working fine. How long does the vacuum pump run? Does it run all the time, my was still running after the ac started working. Haven't tried fixing the adj. trac bar yet let you know how that works. So far 1 for 1 today maybe the repair gods are looking down on me and I can go 2 for 2. Thanks guys.
