Clutch Fan

Does anybody know if the clutch fan from a 5.4l work on our 7.3's thanks

No I don't but the part number from Hayden is 2835 for a 97 7.3. Not cheap.

the 7.3 and the 5.4 fan are different.

the 5.4 fan is way to heavy anyways for the 5.4

I'd lookin into a lighter aftermarket solution to gain HP.

While we are on the subject of clutch fans, I have a question. Sometimes I hear a higher then normal whine that seems to slowly go down is sound. Its at higher speeds like 70mph and I'm thinking to myself, what is my TC unlocking for. I'll reach down and throw my toggle switch and lock the TC but this doesn't make any difference in the sound. Is this my clutch fan doing its thing. On topic, I agree with the above, the 7.3 clutch is way bigger.
