Cab knock

I have an 08 F-350 CC SB which has been a great truck with no issues except... noise from left rear part of Crew Cab. Sounds like someone tapping a wooden pencil on the outside of cab between the cab and bed of the truck. I have looked everywhere outside and pulled off the inside plastic cover behind the left door with no luck. Anyone have similiar situation that could save me some time? Thx

Buckle the seatbelts in the back. When I first got mine, Icould hear a "knocking" and determined it was the seat belt hook hitting the side of the cab.

I just bought a 2008 and I noticed a similar noise and I first thought it might be the seatbelt banging into the door trim but I latched it and it was still there. I have a moonroof and I was thinking it might be the drain line in the pillar. Haven't really taken time too really look into it.

I have had this problem its a spuratict knock that happens when the truck hits a bump, found on mine it was the door latch part on the piller. take some electical tape and wrap it around the black part that attaches to the piller were the latch connects. solved my problem hope it helps
