freakin me out
For the last 3 weeks I've been going insane trying to figure out wtf this weird sound/vibration that my truck has had starting at 50-55 mph and around 2000 rpms. It would start so low I felt it before I heard it and it seemed to be coming from the drivetrain. I checked u joints and driveshafts, I pulled over on the highway and crawled around under the truck...nothing. Completely baffled until sunday(father's day) when I took the fam Kayaking. While I had the yak tied on I didn't hear a thing, evidently, my rack hums when it is empty and the vibration is transmitted throughout the body.
Anybody have any suggestions about sound dampeners that will quiet this down?
