I think stock is around 15-18

With mods like a downpipe, chip, intake... i've heard guys getting up to about 25 or so.

Need bigger injectors to get up higher than that. And bigger HPOP

yeah like falcon said, with your foot in it at stock youll get 15 and 18 at most, but a downpipe really helps and then tunes will set you over 20, but you dont want to go much over 25 any how, journel bearings are not stable enough in these stock turbos to handle that much

I get 17-19 when WOT. It has Superchips tuner, 3" DP and 4" straight pipe, and 6637.
I only get around 15 if I'm not using the superchip.

I hope to see 25+ once my stage I's and PHP chip is installed.

I just put a boost gauge in this past weekend and I am surprised at little boost there is during normal driving. Basically need to be going up a hill or accelerating hard. Even driving on the interstate at 65 and 1700rpm, there might be 1-2 psi. I thought I would be seeing 5 psi for normal driving, but I thought wrong.

It doesn't need to throw in extra air, its pushing it in, but it only pushes when there is load, cause that's when the turbo spools higher.

A smaller turbo would give you 5 psi at normal driving I would think. less to spin.

I haven't put my foot into it too much since the gauges but have seen it a little above 15, maybe close to 17. Maybe I will try it this afternoon sometime, if I do I will let you know.

it depends on the truck too... some guys don't see over 14 or 15, others can see over 25 with basic mods

Why is that? Is is the turbo itself or the whole truck that makes the difference?

I got on it a couple of times and saw 17pounds for a second, just before upshift. Might be 1 or 2 psi more if pulling hard up hill but I think that might be it.

Maybe the reason some guys see more is at what altitude they are at. Not sure if this is correct but someone in Colorado might see higher boost because of thinner air then someone in Florida. In Vermont I am generally in the 500-1500 ft range.

http://www.riffraffdiesel.com/

You can call up riff raff and buy a kit.
Make sure you tell him you have an OBS, cause he has to make the OBS pipes.

or you can order them at Napa
http://www.fleetfilter.com/Store_Vie...cts.asp?Cat=53
30 here
or 55 at napa.

I think the kits from riff raff are 50-70 dollars, or something.

Just need the filter, a clamp, and a 4" 45.
