Also it is addding so much gas that i can see it filling up the intake under the carb. So much infact that the truck wont even fire now.
my 250 bux ispent on it was better before i tried to fix things. AT least it ran like crap before now it dont even start let alone run
Sounds like the Float valve is stuck open, or the float sank, or out of adjustment even, but you would have to confirm that, by taking the top of the carb off.
It could even be the power valve ripped open. A carb kit would fix that too.
I would buy a carb kit, and rebuild the carb. You can also buy floats as well if the float sank..
Just my two cents.
I've had several do this to me, and i've either always had to replace the base of the carb with a junkyard part (Will need a rebuild kit for this, so you'll have the gaskets.) or just swap the carb entirely.
Hopefully its something easy like a bad power-valve or a sunk float. Good luck on getting er' fixed.
it cant hurt to rebuild it and add a new float. I still need to figure out the vacuum mess i have going on
