I parted out a 73 F150 today. It had a transplanted 410 in it with a C6 behind it. I have no idea it that C6 is original or transplanted as well.
The strange thing to me was it had two vac. lines running to the modulator, one into the middle like normal and one into the bell of the valve. I have never seen this before and would be interested in any comments about it's use.

In the cool still quiet of night, you can hear chevies rusting away.
It has to do with the EGR system. My 74 Car manual shows the bell fitting "T" connected between a temp controlled Spark delay valve (SPV) and the EGR valve. The vacuum source comes from the spark port and the EGR port of the carb. The SPV Valve swaps the source of vacuum between the two at the desired temp regulated by the valve. I'm just going to remove it on my FMX and install a single fitting type.
