A4LD funky 2-3 shift
I recently did some work on my Aerostar(new heads)I noticed some trans fluid in the intake plenium and the vacuum hose to the tranny was soft......Bad modulator. I changed the modulator and noew I have a funky shift from 2-3. It shifted fine before. this has only started since the modulator change. The modulator is the motorcraft one from the dealer($116 bucks jobber price!OUCH) any Ideas? 1-2 is fine. Cruise is fine, Just 2-3.

There isn't any adjustment on the motorcraft modulator that I have.
It just appears to be down shifting and up shifting really quick before going into 3rd and overdrive. I runs great after geting into third/ overdrive.
