Engine Knocking

Two times now, I've heard some minor knocking from the engine bay area. Both times, it has been after a cold start after my truck had sat for a few days without running. It only happens when the truck is moving forward, and after I hit about 25 mph it disappears altogether for the rest of the day (even after I slow down and shut off the engine again). I'm not sure what it is (it sounds like something may be loose), but I'm guessing it's not my engine (or at least not catastrophically so), as it's a "bulletproof" 300 with only 77k miles on it, with regular oil changes and never had been run too hard. Any ideas?

Well I can't edit my first post anymore, but I looked around on troubleshooting sites and it came out that it could be one of about thirty-three different things. I narrowed down a bit, and I'm wondering if the carburetor or fuel pump may be to blame. Still, any help would be appreciated. I'll be gone for the week, so hopefully having my truck sit that long won't worsen any problem it might be...

Prolly won't make things worse.

But, it makes newly-installed heater cores leak upon the next wintertime use.

Just kidding.
