G'day
Iam new here, so G'day from down under. I don't own an F Truck but have a new 2006 v10 that I am grafting into a 1977 XC coupe (Aussie Mustang). It took 6months to get the ok from the gov dept, 8 months to find an engine, my engineer has just passed away half way through the build and to top it all off it would appear that no one in Aussie has ever heard of the 6.8. so I thought I might go to the land of the v10 to try to get the info I need.

Sorry for the delay in replying, i have only just been able to get online....bloody Telstra
....where were we, i was first looking for an engine work shop manual as here in sunny Oz the big est Ford engine is the 5.4 and I can not even get a " How To Rebuild" for that. I will post pics..when I work out how

Actually, the V10 is almost the exact same thing as a 5.4 - with an extra two cylinders, one main bearing and two rod bearings.
Did you check out eBay for a Ford service manual CD/DVD? Lots of eBay sellers will ship overseas if you ask.
