Reason: bad spelling
you may have inned the stick up wrong pull it back out and line it up correctly when you put it back in.
you mea try sliping it back in in the reverse posistion?
i have tryed and tryed for about a hour
no luck
i stoped because i was getting mad
i spent all day replacing the axle shafts in the dana 44 up front and repacking the hubs (all went well)
and this little dam thing gets me
were you having any shifting problems before you did the shifter ball seats? like grinding hard shifting or getting stuck in gear..
this could either be a slave cylinder, shift forks, or your shifter might not be on correctly
when you pull the shifter out again make sure the seats are in correctly there are no obstructions or debris in the shifter tower and make sure the pins for the shift ball are in, there are two of them one for each side they go through the shifter tower and into that groove on both sides of the ball the one on the left on my truck was way over worn out and that causes problems
