New ride
Just picked up my new old truck. 73 f250. Looks like it was restored at one time. Headers, dual exuast,air breather all new. Underwent a engine rebuild about two yrs ago. Im not sure of any internals. Can anyone help with some clues to any upgrades. Looks like the origional 2 barrel carb.

What's the engine and vin data would allow someone to decode. But any old truck is a great teasure to find. With header & dual exhuast there's only intake, carb, dizzy setup for better performance.
Everything else is comfort items in my opinion.

Sure would,,get a close up of the valve covers(so we can see how many bolts there are) which will help to determine that you have the actual engine your VIN indicates in case a different engine has been swapped in.
