Front end service

I am replacing the front rotors at 90,000 miles. Is there any front end service I should be doing, while I am working out front?

Also I have electronic shift on the fly and must have a vacuum leak, is there anything I should check while I am at it?

How are your ball joints? Maybe think about greasing the needle bearing if you want to dig into it that far.

I had the ball joints replaced with grease-able ones. Is it hard to grease the needle bearings?

with 90,000 miles, you should probably check the whole setup. NOT saying anything is bad, but it couldnt hurt to check. Once the caliper and rotor are off, see if you have any play in the wheel hub, also grab the tie-rods and see if there's play in them... it all should be pretty solid. If you're not in the habit of greasing the fittings on the front end, I'd recomend that too, I usually check the grease fittings every oil change.

I think I had the tie rod ends replaced last year too. Is there any good instructions for needle beering greasing? Do I need any special tools?
