Thanks Barry, but if I am not at the campgrounds with everyone else, I will be staying elsewhere which is farther than I like so I won't be able to party. We have friends in the area. Do we have a hotel list of where/who folks are staying?

Anybody know a good place to pull off and sleep when we get around Roanoke, VA.?? We stayed at the KOA in Lexington a couple years ago but wanted to try the road trip thing, the Wal-mart or rest area thing, and not have't to worry about problems. PM me if you have any ideas......
Chris, I believe Jim's plan is to be south of TN before this event and drive up for it but I'll be heading south from RI,leaving that tuesday the 4th and planning to be in TN hopefully late wednesday or early thursday. I would be more than happy to pick you up if you want/need a lift. PM me ( I finally have enough posts to be able to say that !! ) if you want
If anyone lives close to an airport and needs/wants some company for the ride, that might work better. No offense to Pete or Jim, I just dont want to have anyone drive out of there way to pick me up.
Mike, I was wondering if you would like to convoy (well mini convoy), I noticed earlier in this post you mentioned coming down I-81 on the 6th. That's when and how I was planing to go. My father lives near Petersburg Va, I know it's out of the way, but he has room for campers, it's safe, and he's a pretty good guy, I like him. Don't tell anyone but he's a Cummins man, my brother is a powerstroke guy though.
Which reminds me; some of you guys were talking about your names and the jokes etc, Darrell may not have a brother named Darrell but, my name is Howard and my brother's name is Howard. I'll explain at the rally. I heard "Howard the duck" and "how we doin Howie?" more times than I care to count, or could for that matter.
On a different note, anyone doing tents? It looks like I'll be alone, and it seems kind of silly for me to get a site just for myself. So if any one wants to share a tent site I'ld be willing.

The big-o-town of Man. And our school mascot was a billie goat. We were called The Man Hillbillies.

Mike you could always try that route or let Brandon loan you his 5th wheel . I hope you can make it out man.

I hope he can too, wanted to meet the almost 400 hp last year at Smolin, didn't pan out but I hope it does this year Mike. I won't be drinking much, I could drop you off at nite so there's no problems, CDL holder here, can't afford to loose my license.
