Initial Setting

I have rebuilt the engine from a 1991 F150. I do not have the original under hood stick that states the ignition timing setting. Can anyone help me out?
What are the degrees? Before or after TDC?

Thanks Phil

Factory spec is 10 deg btdc. Don't worry about setting that until you have the motor running.. you need a timing light to get it dead on anyway, until then set it as close to 0 as you can get.

Thanks Guy

The engine is in the truck and I have been driving it a little, it now time for fine tuning.
Yes I know I will need to use a timing light and disconnect the computer jumper at the distributor.

thanks Phil
