My F250 Ranger SuperCab appears not to have a 351 Windsor engine.
A friend thinks it is either a 351 Cleveland, or a 400 Modified.
How do I determine which engine the truck has ?
Thank you
Stark
What year is it? It isn't a Cleveland unless someone stuck one in it after the fact and I don't believe they ever put a Windsor in a 73-79 pickup. It might be a 351M or a 400 (there is no such thing as a 400M). They are identical externally. The VIN should give you the story, but the only way to know for sure is to measure the stroke.
Looked at the ad. That's a super clean truck !. I bet the cruise is pretty rare before 78/79. Sure you want to sell it ? I sold a 78 last spring and had remorse, got lucky and bought a better 79 this spring. Good luck with the sale.
