Makeshift Gasket?
I need to install these trim clips on my repaired fender. I got the clips but they did not come with the small gasket that goes between them and the fender like the OEM clips had. What can I use to make my own little gaskets to protect the paint? Thanks.

Ford used a product known as dum-dum in the auto body shop biz, put a dab on each moulding clip.
This stuff comes in stick form (looks like a licorise stick), and is available at every automotive paint supply store.
