wheel covers?
im trying to find out if anyone Knows is hte 9 hole chrome 16' wheels from a 99 f250 super duty are wheel skins or if it is a chrome steel wheel.. i looks like it may be a skin but im not sure. Any onr know?

From looking at your gallery it appears that you have "skins" as opposed to chrome wheels. I didn't know that Ford offered "skins" but they may be OEM. Can you take a close up pic and post to this thread?

I had those same wheels on my 2003 F-250. I replaced them with a set of factory aluminum wheels from a 2003 Lariat. They are so heavy, that I used to get a hernia when I had to rotate them. They are plain steel with a thin chrome face attached to them. The chrome face is NOT removeable. The wheel IS NOT chrome plated. If anyone needs a set of them, I still have all 4. They are like new.
