Headlight question

Does a 2002 Expedition use traditional seal beams or one of the new Xenon type bulbs? I have a friend who would like HID but does not want to pay the price. I was thinking someone may make a kit for a xenon type bulb and reflector system which may satisfy him in the short term.

Headlight question

they make HID kits that utilize a 9007 bulb type which is used by your friends expy, the bad news is the stock housing is not optimized for HID beam patterns. What you will have to do is find some heads off of a lightning or HD.

^^What He Said^^

The closest bulb that is going to give you the HID effect is (IMO) Sylvania Silverstars. But your definately going to change out the standard housing.
