ok so i finally got the truck seats back in and got her buttoned up enough to take a test drive. i immediately noticed after pulling out of the driveway the steering was very hard, there is no power assist to it. now a week or so ago when i cranked it for the first time to bleed the system i had no problems. in fact i was downright impressed! i dont know what changed. my fluid level is topped off, i have NO leakage at all, and everything appears to be normal. i jacked up one side of the truck and turned the wheel and i felt no difference with the truck on or off.
one thing i did notice was the fluid in the pump looks a little more foamy than i think it should. fyi... this is not the stock pump, this is an upgraded sag pump with a modified body to fit in the stock bracket (with some massaging of course)
i was hoping i didnt have to tear my whole system back apart but it looks like thats what i am gonna have to do.
