my truck is a 2003 F 350 6.0L 4x4 dually, it all started about a month ago when i got a check engine light, i kept driving the truck till i could check the code. it went out after a day or so. I checked the code and it came up Throttle/Pedal Position sensor/ switch "E"/"F" Voltage Correlation. Now this morning June 18th, on my way to work the check engine light came on again. Once i got outta work i checked the code and it came up again Throttle/Pedal Position sensor/ switch "E"/"F" Voltage Correlation. I thought nothing of it and figured it clear itself again. i left work and got about a mile down the road when i lost all acceleration with the pedal. i would step on the pedal and nothing happened. i was at an idle. So i pulled into a coworkers driveway which i was lucky i was close to. When stepping on the pedal to go in, i had throttle but still the check engine light was still on. So i again plugged in the code reader and saw 2 codes now. 1 was Throttle/Pedal Position sensor/ switch "E"/"F" Voltage Correlation and the other one was Throttle/Pedal Position sensor/ switch "C"/"D" Voltage Correlation. i cleared the codes and unplugged the throttle position sensor and started the engine. No check engine light, i replugged it back in and unplugged another sensor, i forget what my coworker called it but its right next to the alternator. Still no check engine light so i replugged it back in and decided to try and make it home. i drove back to my house which is 15 mins away and i had normal throttle response and no check engine lights, does anyone know or have had a similar problem? i dont wanna drop money in replacing sensors when it could possibly not be the sensor(s). Also if anyone can tell me what the codes mean? Whats "E","F","C","D" mean?

 

the codes are P2138 Throttle/Pedal Position sensor/ switch "D"/"E" Voltage Correlation and P2140 Throttle/Pedal Position sensor/ switch "E"/"F" Voltage Correlation. I apologize for giving the wrong codes in the previous post

 

Sounds like the TPS sensor needs replacing.
