I have the shop tools hey is the dumb question.is there any difference tween putting a gas engine in than a diesel??? Besides the weight difference

Front radiator support is different to accommodate the extra large radiator required. The wiring is different to support the glowplug system. And you will need a diesel transmission since the diesel bellhousing is the only one that matches the diesel engine.

maybe i didn't say it correctly i've put gas motors in but never a diesel

No difference, lower it in and bolt it up. The only thing is when you come to fire it up for the first time as you will have to bleed the air out of the fuel system.
