Finally got my stacks cut welded painted an installed. All in all I am very happy with how they came out and I did it for under $300. I did it a little different than everyone else, I don't have any stack to bed clamps. Instead I made a frame that is welded to the y-pipe and is then bolted to the floor of the bed. I'll try an get some pictures up here tomorrow, I was to busy drivin it today to snap any. Only things that I don't like is that my MBRP muffler is to long so I have to find another way of quieting this hog down cuz she is LOUD. And I cut the hole for the y about 1 1/2 to far back so the stacks sit back a little to far for my liking. I'm building a diamond plate cover for them and when I getthat done I will move them in some, until then I'll just have to deal with my stupiddity.
oh dont you worry my friend! there shall be 4 diesel owners in billerica with stacks! im getting the bed hook up from brownfalcon and ill order the aussies in a month or so, then we can be cool wana be's and go sit at the dunks down the street for pointless hours at a time and think were cool, finally!
yeah ya need to get some pix of those stacks I love a good set of stacks. I have stacks on my DODGE 12v cummins.......I wish my cummins came in a FORD though.
this is what i've got for now, if you want any different pictures just ask and ill go snap some more. The stacks are black for now, i've got another set that i'm havin chromed but i'm waiting to get some time in the shop.
what can i say im good with my hands, just not so good with these techno thingys lol. I knew that i could make a webshots account and do it that way but i really didnt want to do it that way......i thought it was gonna be more hassle than it was worth, but i was wrong it was quite easy. And quit being a stubborn *** and go with some haulers and ill make you a set, it'll save ya broke *** some money lol.
no i hate haulers lol and i want 6" besides, haulers and aussies are bent not cut, sure we could ghetto up a set and hide the welds but it would look weird
Thanks! That could take a little while my stupid video camera won't let me take anything off, it refuses lol. I can try with my regular camera but I don't know how well it will come out, I'll try to do that tomorrow.
