90 300 inline 6 EFI no fire
So after thinking about it, wouldn't it stand to reason that the distributor is probably good if I'm getting spark at the plugs and coil? We tested the plugs and had spark, and we had spark at the coil.
So, now I'm thinking it has to be a wiring issue.

So I think I have a plan of attack for this weekend. I think this has to be a wiring issue. The battery gets hot when I turn the motor over now which makes me think I have a wire shorting out. I also have no power to the EFI (there's a red wire with a plug end on it that plugs into the top of the EFI unit). My plugs are dry, which tells me that the injectors are in fact not spraying fuel.
I think the computer is good since I got the 11 system pass code on the code reader. I plan on testing the two injector wires that come out of the computer harness and make sure they're hot, then tracing them to the injector. If I find a short there, I would think that would be my main issue. I will also check the ground while I'm at it.
I have spark at the plugs, and coil. I changed the fuel filter, and there was good pressure comming from the fuel pump. The injectors are all that's left that I can think of. Thanks for all of the help.

Got it running tonight finally. I replaced the fuel pressure regulator. It took a while to get it to start. I changed the oil before starting it because there was a ton of gas in the oil pan, because it was leaking out due to the bad regulator.
So when, it finally started I had 20 minutes or so of bright white smoke billowing out of the tailpipe. After running it it cleared out, and now it's idling smoother than it did before the problems.
I changed the oil one more time after running it a little bit, and will run it more tommorow morning to see how it goes.
Thanks for all the help everyone.
