Hard break petal

Hard break petal

I got in my truck today (83 F150). Went for a drive and the break petal is extremely hard to press and it did not brake very well. What could cause this? A a booster failure.<input id="gwProxy" type="hidden"><input onclick="jsCall();" id="jsProxy" type="hidden">

With the truck off pump your pedal 4-5 times and hold it. Then start your truck. If your pedal does not move down when you start the truck, your booster is bad.

Thanks for the help guys. It was a bad break booster. Put in a new one and brakes work like a charm.
