Fuel gauge problem
87 6.9 dual tanks. I have put in a new rear sending unit. Now waiting on the front. Fuel gauge was going from empty to full and anywhere back and forth while driving on rear tank. Now it's pegged past full. What is my problem?

I agree with the short circuit.
However if you still have the stock vent tube in the fill spout, it could possibly have slid down the fill spout into the tank.
When you inserted the sending unit, the vent tube has the float arm jammed up, so the sending unit thinks the tank is full.
