np 435

I have an np435 in a Bronco, it keeps jumping out of 3rd gear, it runs fine in all other gears. Any input on what may cause this problem? Thanks for any info!

My dad has an '84 Bronco with the B-W T-18. It has similar problems. It has been diagnosed to the synchros. I guess they not only match shaft speed to gear speed, but they also hold the shift fork in place. That may be the problem with yours as well.
