well the intake and exhaust will help keep her breathing easy, should be good to go just take it easy on steep grades and the like

You should be good as long as you don't do the WOT thing. Man, you need to visit here more often. You have to do something about the chip and intake filter. Have fun on this trip and come back and learn what you need to do.

Towing 7K I'd think you'll be fine, I'd be more worried about having a trans temp gauge than pyro with your setup. Just don't lug it up the grades too much.

I have been towing stock without gauges on my pickup since it was new. I put gauges on my X and am running a super chip tuner. I run it in the tow performance mode and towed with it for the first time today (other than our 18' boat). I had the skid steer behind and I will tell you the egt's went high fast on the hills. I was glad I had the gauges so I could back out of it on some of the longer hills. I guess it surprised me because the skid isn't that heavy, 6-7k. I would have stopped and tuned it back to stock, but I didn't have the instructions with me on how to reset the anti theft so I didn't want to be stranded. Maybe a bigger exhaust would help out, but I would not tow with my super chip without at least a egt gauge.

RPM's are your friend... The higher the RPM's the lower the EGT's for the most part. When pulling a pass or something keep them up in the 2500 range or so.

But ASAP get a pyro min...
