injector issues

Just got the call from ford.
Injectors 2,3,7 are not buzzing when tested cold. But there is no code.
The truck runs ok, just has no power until it is wamed up.
questions
1. Can I drive it like this? will it hurt anything? and how long will it bo ok this way.
2. Should I change the 3 for $1700 or all 8 for $3500
3. is this a do it yourself job? If so where to get the best proice on a good injector? Would you think about a wrecking yad?
4. If I do this, is there anything else I should change whule there?

This sucks,74000 and out of the 5 yr warranty....

You can do it yourself. Depends on how good of a wrench you are (6 to 8 hours for a first timer). I would say go to Elite Eng or River City Diesel. Depends on if you are staying stock or going bigger?

It's actually a fairly simple job to do. I think it took more time to get to the injectors than it did to change them. I had 3 or 4 that were bad. I bought some used ones on ebay from an 05. With shipping and duty it probably cost me around $600.00 cdn. to do.
