I know that everyone uses Bilstein but how do they compair to procomp.I need to get some shocks but the Bilsteins will take 4-6 weeks to get here and 4 wheel parts has procomp shocks that will fit my truck right now.
Got a set a few weeks ago. (Bilsteins) Really hard to imagine getting a better ride in a truck as heavy as ours.
It is my understanding that the valving in these shocks is designed specifically for the superduty. Many other shock manufacturers have the same valving set ups without regard for different vehicle characteristics.
Yes.... but do the Bilsteins hold up as an off road shock ! I know a lot of guys love the ride... but are they tough enough ??????? Thats my big question !

Ummm, mine didn't, but that is after 3-4 years of use. They will however, replace them for free, I'm just trying to figure out what I would do while there in the mail. I would recommend them though, they really smoothed out my truck.
