Got a set a few weeks ago. (Bilsteins) Really hard to imagine getting a better ride in a truck as heavy as ours.

It is my understanding that the valving in these shocks is designed specifically for the superduty. Many other shock manufacturers have the same valving set ups without regard for different vehicle characteristics.

Where are you checking that you have to wait for Bilsteins? I got mine within 5 days from Bilstein - KYB - Rancho - Monroe - Edelbrock Automotive Truck Shocks and Struts - Shockwarehouse.com

Ummm, mine didn't, but that is after 3-4 years of use. They will however, replace them for free, I'm just trying to figure out what I would do while there in the mail. I would recommend them though, they really smoothed out my truck.
