Can someone tell me what this rubber plug looking thing is between the engine and transmission? I keep getting a very slow drip of oil and when I push on this rubber plug a little oil comes out from the seal.
I have a pic of it but how do I put it on this post?
When you go to create a post, click on the "Go Advanced" button.
There is a button for inserting an image just above the text box of the "Advanced" page. It is a small square icon, mostly yellow background, with a small grey dot on the top right, and two, overlapping gray triangles at the bottom.
I think you mean the inspection hole. It has a grommet type plug stuck in it. If so, then you've got some oil in there, maybe an engine rear main seal leaking.
