My truck then and now.

This is my truck, bought in November 2007 with about 100,000 km on it, I am now nearing 200k and couldn't be happier with it. The first 2 pics are from my first test drive, the last 2 are from today. Ive made some changes since then: no more bug deflector, vent visors, moonroof deflector, new tires, Lightning headlights and TYC clear corners (signals), and I recently lowered the truck a couple inches to level it out. I really should clean it though before putting pics on here - oh well next time.

Opinions? Thoughts? Suggestions?

Thanks

not too shabby. I like how you lowered the rear to level it out rather than raise the front. did you just remove the rear blocks?

like those headlights and corners can i ask where and how much? still looking for a set cheap for my truck.

nice clean truck all i'd have to suggest is tinting the back window (or all of them) and getting a shorter antenna. have you thought about chrome (acetoned) badges?

The clear corners were cheap only like $70 canadian. The headlights I paid $600 bucks for at the time but they are actual Lightning ones. I used a shackle lowering kit from Summit racing to drop the rear. I would like to be badgeless but the holes stop me...

I like it better with the bugshield and rainguards on, forget the sunroof guard though. Those mudflaps are fugly, got to go. And I would have popped for some nice white letter A/T tires.

Also I think the badges are all stick-on, no holes anymore. Is that correct?

Yea, not a fan of the bug shield at all, and the mudflaps are gone, I have rubber Ford ones on now, but would like to get some nice ones. The tires are A/T's but I really don't like the white lettering. I think it looks cleaner without.

Advocate...Nice Truck!! I have almost the same truck, but mine is an 01'. I did get rid of my bug guard also because it was faded....I was thinking about getting a new one, but now...maybe not!! I also have the Lightning clear lamps and clear corners. I also did the foglight mod as well. I am having an issue with bad "checking" of the paint on my hood. $650 to repaint......
