Hydrogen Cell Systems..do they really work?
I just sold my 2000 Mustang do to a woman...go figure, trying to make a u-turn out of a no standing/no stopping/no parking bus stop, through a double yellow line, and t-boning me. It performed horrible after being "fixed" so now it's gone.
My Dad offered to sell me his 1998 Eddie Bauer Expedition with the 5.4 and only 60k miles for just $4k so I'd really like it...but the little light that says avg mpg = 11.4 kinda makes me think of going in a different direction despite the amazing price.
I've been doing some research as far as getting a tuner and everything (i'd prolly go with an edge evo) and making sure to use cruise control whenever possible. But I was curious, do hydrogen cell systems really work? It would be great if I could get some pros/cons from anyone who knows about them. If they do work, what kind of mpg could i expect to get ouf ot the truck if i got one of them and a tuner. Thanks.
